1 | What is the Wi-Fi code?

The most important question: we obviously have free WiFi throughout the hotel.

2 | How do I switch on the electricity?

Put your room card in the card holder in the room and voilà: everything works! Need help with setting up your climate control? Check this photo. Any further questions? You know where to find us!

3 | How do I connect my phone to the Marshallbox? 

On the box you will find a button: pair. 

Press pair twice, on your phone you will see the connection Acton, this is the Marshallbox, so do not

connect it to your room number.

4 | How about breakfast?

Don't feel like heading out the door? For €15.50 per person, we serve a delicious breakfast board.  You can choose whether to take a seat in our breakfast lounge or enjoy breakfast in your room. Breakfast is a great start to the day including local and sustainable products. And did you know that real spring water comes from Utrecht's taps? We like to serve that with our breakfast with a nice organic ginger, orange or lemon.  

We are also in favour of recycling. Our orange peels and coffee grounds are collected by the Clique. This is a local company that turns these leftovers into delicious scrubs. 

Breakfast must be reserved in advance, so feel free to drop by reception to request breakfast for the next morning. This way we know exactly what to prepare and as little as possible is thrown away!

Or... Lucky you! Utrecht is bursting with great breakfast hotspots. Here are some of our favourites: on the Mariaplaats you can go to Café Elize. A few doors down, in Zadelstraat, you will find Rabarber and in the shadow of the Dom you can go to De Rechtbank, Anne & Max or Ted's 

5| Can I smoke in the hotel?

Very surprising: no, smoking is only permitted outside the hotel. If we notice that you have been smoking in the room, we will charge a fine of € 150.

6 | When will my (bath)linen be changed?

Every day our housekeeping cleans the rooms of our guests. 

We are happy to provide you with new towels, but in a sustainable way. Only put your towels on the floor if you want us to replace them with clean ones. We also tidy the bed and replenish the free tea and coffee. Are you staying longer than three nights? We will then change your bed linen halfway through your stay.

Do you think daily housekeeping is excessive or would you like to contribute to a cleaner world? Then choose to exchange room cleaning for planting a tree and hang the Hotels for Trees door handle hanger on your door.

7 | How do I get the creases out of my clothing?

Super simple: just request an ironing board and iron from us at the reception. But, if you don’t mind, we will leave the ironing itself to you!

8 | Can my clothes be cleaned?

We work together with a dry cleaner. If you deliver your laundry to reception before 8:00 AM, it will be delivered to you clean within 1-2 days. Please note that this service is only available during the week and is not possible on weekends. A laundry bag and the price list are in the safe in your room.

9 | Garbage? 

 Housekeeping takes your rubbish. Would you like to help them?  Then you can put paper and bottles separately next to the rubbish bin. We also have a rubbish bin on the 1st floor for paper and residual waste, if you don't want to keep it in your room until the next day. If it doesn't fit, you can also drop it off at reception.

10 | How do I arrange a taxi?

Call us or drop by the reception and we will arrange a taxi for you. Depending on how busy it is, the taxi will be here in about 10 minutes. A taxi ride to Schiphol costs € 59 euros

11 | What can I do in Utrecht?
